Brian Boyd joined Masud Labor Law Group as an associate attorney in 2017. Since that time, Brian has taken a comprehensive approach to the law to solve the complex problems faced by our clients.
Growing up in southern Michigan, Brian fostered a love for the law and for using the law to advocate for the rights of others. Seeing legal issues as puzzles needing to be solved, Brian thinks outside the box to provide the comprehensive legal representation needed by employers operating in the information age. In law school, Brian concentrated his education in the areas of employment discrimination, public sector labor law, and general employment law. During his law school career, he worked in the general counsel's office for a major amusement park company, where he assisted in handling ongoing legal affairs, including the various legal issues incident to employing a substantial number of employees. Brian also worked for a mid-sized law firm in Toledo, Ohio, where he was able to see how cases operated from the plaintiff's perspective.
When Brian is not in the office, he likes to travel. As a lifelong Michigander, Brian also enjoys taking in the natural beauty of Michigan, as well as exploring the robust city life that defines Michigan. In the fall, he often returns to his alma mater, Michigan State University, where he is a Spartan at heart and rarely passes up an opportunity to cheer his team on.
